Dyness announced that the Powerbox G2 has officially received INMETRO certification, confirming that the equipment – designed for residential, commercial and industrial applications – meets the technical and safety requirements established by Brazilian standards.

The low-voltage battery has an expandable capacity of 10,24 kWh to 512 kWh and can be configured with up to 50 modules connected in parallel, making it a versatile solution for projects of different sizes.

According to the company, the main differences between the Powerbox G2 are:

  • High security: the system features an intelligent fire extinguishing mechanism that acts in just 5 seconds, in addition to automatic pressure relief, increasing protection and reducing operational risks;
  • High and low temperature performance: The automatic heating feature (optional) ensures efficient system operation in harsh climates;
  • 1C discharge capacity: with a maximum current of 200 A, the product provides power simultaneously to multiple loads, ideal for use in shopping centers and industrial environments;
  • Easy installation: its compact design – 30% smaller in volume and 15% lighter – makes transportation and installation easier, optimizing time and reducing labor costs;
  • IP66 protection: resistant to heavy rain and high humidity, the equipment can be installed outdoors in complete safety.

Technology aligned with the Brazilian energy transition

INMETRO's certification of the Powerbox G2 comes at a strategic moment for the sector. With the consolidation of the Distributed Generation Legal Framework and the growth of self-consumption, storage solutions are gaining prominence throughout the country.

According to the manufacturer, rising energy costs and problems with injection and connection to the grid in several regions have driven demand for reliable, safe, and adaptable systems.

“INMETRO certification represents more than a seal of conformity: it is a milestone in Dyness' commitment to the Brazilian market. With the support of Canal Solar, we will continue promoting training actions, access to technology and solutions that empower consumers and companies on the journey towards energy independence,” concluded Carlos Trotta, Country Manager of Dyness Brasil.
