Last Wednesday (19), the Living and Auren Energy announced the start of operation da GUD Energy, One joint-venture created to capture the opportunities generated by opening do free energy market.

O focus of GUD Energia will be the commercialization de customized solutions em renewable energy throughout Brazil to simplify the way of contracting energy. The company even offers up to 30% discount on your energy bill.

“Our initial strategy is to address the segment of customers that are in voltage group A, such as businesses, services and industries, but we will prepare ourselves to, in the future, operate in the low voltage and residential segments in a scenario of total market opening of Brazilian electricity”, says Fabio Balladi, general director of GUD Energia.

“GUD Energia was born big, the result of the union of two companies that are a reference in their markets. With this DNA, we have the ambition to lead the market in our segment of activity”

Second study made by CCEE (Electricity Trading Chamber), from the start this year, more than one thousand 72 new consumers, including factories, offices and commercial establishments, can now be part of the Free Energy Market.

The decision to create the joint-venture was announced in December 2023, with an eye on the progression of the opening of the free energy market.

According to the companies, GUD Energia brings together the experience of two of the biggest brands in their segments: Auren, leader in energy sales in Brazil and a reference in renewable energy generation, and Vivo, one of the leaders in the Brazilian telecommunications market.
