A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) approved, on Tuesday (15), the annual readjustment of Equatorial Pará's tariffs. For residential consumers, the increase will be 6,70%. Considering all classes served by the distributor, the average effect will be 6,94%.

The company supplies energy to approximately 3,12 million consumer units in 228 municipalities in the state. The highest rate disclosed According to the agency, the 8,09% increase corresponds to the average for high-voltage consumers, served at levels starting from 2,3 kV. For low voltage, which includes residences, commercial establishments, rural properties, and public lighting, the average readjustment will be 6,66%.

The percentages vary according to the consumption group; therefore, the average for low voltage is different from the specific index applied to the residential class.

According to ANEELThe result of the readjustment was influenced by energy acquisition costs, sector charges, and financial components considered in the tariff calculation. The agency did not detail, in the statement, how much each of these factors contributed to the final index.
