Isa Energia Brasil has energized its second solar plant for remote self-consumption at the Assis Substation (SP). With 214 kWp, the system is capable of generating energy to serve nine of the company's own consumer units in the region, contributing to an estimated annual reduction of 17 tons of CO2e.
Completed in six months, the project involved an investment of R$1,4 million and the installation of 310 photovoltaic modules in an area of approximately 34.000 m².
“The implementation of the solar plant required meticulous planning for its integration into the existing infrastructure. The result is a robust, efficient system that is aligned with our commitment to the energy transition and reducing the carbon footprint of our operations,” explains Fernando Ruiz, reinforcements and improvements manager at Isa Energia Brasil.
Other ongoing projects
Isa Energia Brasil already has another solar plant for remote self-consumption, with 500 kW of power, installed at the Mogi Mirim III Substation (SP), which since October 2024 has supplied 35 of the company's consumer units, contributing to the annual reduction of approximately 49 tons of CO2e.

“Both plants are examples of how technology can be used to optimize energy use and reduce costs. The remote self-consumption system is a distributed generation method that allows us to share energy credits between our units, optimizing the company’s energy consumption management,” explains Carlos Shiguematsu, the company’s new business manager.
Continuing this strategy, the company reported that it plans to build two more solar plants by the end of 2025, expanding its installed capacity to 1300 kW with 2,5 thousand photovoltaic panels.
“With this project, the company advances in its sustainability journey towards the goal of reducing 2 million tons of CO2e in the world by 2030”, said Ana Carolina David, communications and sustainability manager at ISA ENERGIA BRASIL.
