As the country advances on its sustainability journey, businesses are demanding smarter energy solutions that maximize solar efficiency, reduce costs and ensure uninterrupted operations with lower O&M (Operation and Maintenance) costs.
In this context, KSTAR extension stated that it stands out by offering innovative technologies that meet this growing need. The manufacturer presented the BluePulse series – a modular energy storage system designed for various commercial and industrial energy applications in Brazil.
“The line offers a modular, highly customizable combination of inverter power and battery capacity, allowing companies to precisely configure their energy storage to meet operational demands. Whether for small and medium-sized businesses, large industrial complexes or commercial establishments, our solution offers a customized fit,” said Thomas Spadinger, Country Manager Brazil at KSTAR.
Below are the series settings.
KAC50DP-BC100DE / KAC50DP-BC197DE
- Inverter: 50 kW;
- Battery capacity: 100 kWh or 197 kWh (expandable).
KAC100DP-BC100DE / KAC100DP-BC197DE
- Inverter: 100 kW;
- Battery capacity: 100 kWh or 197 kWh (expandable).
KAC125DH-BC233DE
- Inverter: 125 kW;
- Battery capacity: 233 kWh (expandable).
According to him, these flexible options allow companies to optimize storage based on their specific requirements. “With applications spanning industries, hospitals, hotels, supermarkets, retail chains, agricultural applications – such as irrigation pivots – farms and even electric vehicle charging stations, the BluePulse series is a versatile solution for a wide range of C&I applications,” he said.
Reliability, efficiency and intelligent switching
With a maximum efficiency of 98,7%, the BluePulse line integrates with solar energy sources, the electrical grid or the diesel generator. One of its standout features is the Static Transfer Switch (STS), which allows instant transitions between on-grid and off-grid modes in less than 20 milliseconds.
“This ensures uninterrupted power supply during power outages or grid failures – essential for companies with constant activity, such as data centers and assisting in the setup of industrial lines,” commented the executive.
This capability is particularly advantageous in areas with unstable grids, such as end-of-line locations, allowing companies to use photovoltaic energy during peak hours or store electricity from the grid during periods of lower demand for consumption at peak times, significantly reducing operating costs.
Additionally, integrated BMS/EMS systems, backed by over 30 years of industry experience, provide real-time monitoring via cloud-based platforms, enabling companies to maintain full control and optimize energy performance efficiently and effectively.

Overall performance
According to the Country Manager, the series has demonstrated its effectiveness globally in the Netherlands, Germany and Italy. “In Germany, a molding plant took advantage of BluePulse, using a time shifting strategy for off-peak loading and peak unloading.”
“The first 50 kW/100 kWh set was installed in 2021. Due to the possibility of expanding the system and the success of the implementation, a second 50 kW/100 kWh set was added in 2023, totaling 100 kW/200 kWh,” he explained.
In Italy, the 1-set 50 kW/100 kWh system provided a reliable energy solution for refugee settlements, reducing dependence on diesel generators.
In Brazil, he reported that the line stabilized commercial operations during power outages/failures, reduced energy costs – avoiding fines at peaks above contracted demand – and increased the efficiency of sectors such as agribusiness and retail chains.
“Through its flexible configurations, cutting-edge technology and dedication to sustainability, the series enables businesses to reduce their energy costs, increase the reliability of their grid and contribute to a cleaner future,” added Thomas Spadinger.

Partnership with CATL
In addition to BluePulse, he highlighted that the company's differential is its exclusive joint venture with CATL – which holds more than 30% of the global market for vehicle lithium batteries.
“Unlike conventional supplier-customer models, this collaboration signifies a deeply solid partnership in which both companies are co-owners of the CATL-KSTAR factory where ESS are manufactured,” he emphasized.
“This ensures unparalleled product quality, efficiency and technological advances in storage solutions. Of utmost importance, we can mention the fully integrated BMS (Battery Management System) and EMS (Energy Management System) – inverter/battery, developed jointly and extensively tested and approved for several years in numerous C&I applications”, concluded the executive.
